An uncommon species found only in a limited part of the region. Little research appears to have been done and so little is known about this species. Multivoltine but it is not known how many broods per year although probably at least 3 or 4.

Regional Distribution: Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Malaysia
Habitat: open montane forests at low to moderate elevations Wingspan: 50-60mm
Flight time: not fully known but probably most of the year
Life History: not known but possibly similar to its sister species with egg to adult at around 18-20 days
Larval Hosts: Hydnocarpus castaneus (Achariaceae). There may be other hosts that have not been recorded.
Adult Food Sources: Nectar - not known if this species visits flowers for nectar. Other - mud puddling.
