Quite widely distributed and can be common locally. This species is sexually dimorphic with differences in both colour and markings. The base colour of the wings can be blue, greyish-brown, or a combination of the two in both male and female. The female is also considerably larger than the male. Like most species in this genus it is a strong flier. It is multivoltine with several broods per annum. Further study is needed for this species.
