An uncommon species about which little is known. The sexes look alike although the female is slightly larger. It is assumed to be multivoltine with several broods per annum. Further study of this species is much needed.

Regional Distribution:  India, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia

Habitat:  montane forest, up to 1200m a.s.l.                                                          Wingspan:  45-55mm

Flight time:  most of the year, depending on location

Larval Hosts:  not known

Adult Food Sources:  Nectar - not known if it visits flowers. Other - mud puddling
